The Guest Services Attendant - Bellman plays a key role in creating a seamless and memorable arrival and departure experience for guests. As one of the first and last points of contact, this role delivers warm, personalized service by assisting with luggage handling, escorting guests, and providing information about hotel facilities and local attractions, in line with luxury hospitality standards.
Job Responsibility:
Greet guests upon arrival and departure with professionalism and warmth
Assist guests with luggage handling, storage, and delivery in a timely and careful manner
Escort guests to their rooms, explaining room features and hotel facilities
Provide directions and information about hotel services, dining outlets, and local attractions
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, and Valet teams to ensure smooth guest flow
Respond promptly to guest requests, including deliveries and special assistance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas
Handle guest belongings with care and ensure security at all times
Assist with transportation arrangements and taxi coordination when required
Support group arrivals and departures, ensuring efficient luggage handling
Uphold brand standards, grooming, and hygiene at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel is an advantage
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy luggage
Well-groomed with a professional and approachable demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of Kuala Lumpur and local attractions is preferred
Valid driving license is an advantage (if required for valet support)
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations
Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia
Must have the right to work in Malaysia
Nice to have:
Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel is an advantage
Valid driving license is an advantage (if required for valet support)
