Job Description:

The Guest Services Associate is responsible for processing guest check-ins/check-outs, handling payments, resolving guest concerns, coordinating with housekeeping, assisting guests with directions, and managing communications through telephone or in-person interactions. The role emphasizes professionalism, compliance with company standards, and maintaining positive relationships with guests and coworkers.

Job Responsibility:

Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and late check-out requests
Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys
Verify and adjust billing for guests
Communicate room availability status
Advise guests of messages
Coordinate with housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns
Operate telephone switchboard station
Provide guests with directions and information
Record and process guest calls, questions, and concerns
Arrange transportation for guests
Count and secure bank transactions at the start and end of shifts
Follow company policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
Welcome and assist guests according to company standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
Professional appearance
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds.
