Job Description:

The Guest Service Manager at The Westin Nanjing Resort & Spa is responsible for managing guest services operations, supervising employees, ensuring adherence to company standards, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of supervisory experience, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and a passion for hospitality.

Job Responsibility:

Process guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key
set up accurate accounts according to guests' requirements
enter Marriott Rewards information
secure payment and verify billing
compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists
supply guests with directions and property information
accommodate guest requests and follow up
process payments, vouchers, and charges
balance receipts
count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift
follow all accounting procedures
notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest reports of theft
assist management in training, evaluating, motivating, and coaching employees
serve as a role model for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy
develop positive working relationships
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
at least 1 year of supervisory experience
