Job Description

Guest Service Assistant - 40 hours a week. Lighthouse Hotel Management are recruiting for the exciting role of full time Guest Service Assistant at the Holiday Inn Express Cambourne - Cambridge West. The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service and have strong administration and computer skills with a good telephone manner, have a positive and confident ‘can do' attitude and be willing to learn. You will be a team player to assist in all areas of the front of house operation.

Requirements

  • A great personality and be genuine, approachable and attentive
  • A proven track record in a similar role
  • Good organisation, communication and planning skills gained through previous experience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
  • Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • Strong communicator that loves to chat to our guests
  • Someone who comes to work with a smile and want to make sure everyone around you leaves with a smile
  • Smart professional appearance
  • A sense of humour

Nice to have

  • Hotel reception experience
  • A good working knowledge of hotel systems is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure independently
  • Basic kitchen experience
