Job Description

Ariel House, a beautifully restored Victorian guesthouse in Dublin 4, is seeking a Guest Relations Manager to “be the face of the house” and lead our front-of-house experience. This role offers excellent work-life balance with daytime-focused shifts, a supportive environment, and none of the large-scale corporate pressures found in bigger hotels.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the welcoming face of Ariel House, delivering a personalised guest experience
  • Lead the front-of-house team with warmth and professionalism
  • Oversee daily operations including arrivals, departures & guest queries
  • Respond to feedback and handle issues with empathy and confidence
  • Maintain excellent standards in service, presentation, and communication
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Drive a culture of genuine hospitality and attention to detail

Requirements

  • Experience in a front office, guest relations or supervisory hospitality role
  • A natural people person with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and calm under pressure
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
  • Experience in a boutique hotel or guesthouse is a strong advantage
