Job Description:

The Guest Experience Liaison (Bell Person) is the first and lasting impression for world travelers at The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville. The role focuses on welcoming guests, providing detailed orientations, fulfilling requests, and building connections to ensure a memorable experience in a luxury environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcome every guest to the hotel with a smile
  • Act as an ambassador of the hotel
  • Take care of guests with a sense of urgency
  • Arrange transportation
  • Deliver on guest requests
  • Make reservations
  • Maintain an inviting presence
  • Provide a detailed orientation of the hotel including artwork, outlets, amenities, and guest room upon arrival
  • Serve as the personal liaison between the guest and the hotel to ensure expectations are met and exceeded (e.g., restaurant reservations, laundry, shoeshine)
  • Assist the concierge in handling mail and facsimiles
  • Provide guests with information regarding hotel facilities and local attractions
  • Hold conversations and build lasting connections

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a luxury hotel as a concierge, bellperson, or doorperson
  • Professional, pleasant, and approachable demeanor
  • Pride in a well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to work in an experiential luxury environment
