The Guest Experience Host is a key element for the success of the guest journey whose main objective is to anticipate the guest's needs throughout their stay while curating memorable moments for them.
Job Responsibility:
Provide the most personalized and individually curated experience for each VIP guest
Act as the direct link between the guests and the hotels departments
Get to know guest preferences to anticipate their needs
Act as point of contact for VIPs including a dedicated pre-arrival email and direct contact throughout their stay
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
Personally inspect VIP and Special Attention guestrooms and ensures readiness for a perfect arrival experience
Meet and greet arriving and departing guests
Provide genuine hospitality and recognition, acts as host/hostess
Maintain high visibility in the lobby and front desk area and provide assistance to guests in a pro-active way
Resolve guest concerns and complaints speedily and efficiently
Keep management informed of guest incidents
represent senior management in their absence
Ensure areas under supervision are perfectly maintained
conduct routine inspections of Public areas and guest rooms
Screen next day movements for special instructions to various departments
Ensure pending follow up action is communicated to the next shift
Assist with responsibilities in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Guest Services and lobby coverage
Work closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests
Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in luxury Hotel
Self-driven and a strategic resourcing professional
Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast pace working environment
Good team spirit, cooperative with good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment, utilizing a variety of computer systems to check in and out, run daily reports, select/assign rooms arriving guests, and restaurant/activity/spa reservation systems
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in both Spanish and English language
