Job Description:

At The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, the Guest Experience Expert is responsible for ensuring guests have a smooth and memorable experience. Responsibilities include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing requests and concerns, and coordinating with internal departments to provide exceptional service. The role demands professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering the Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.

Job Responsibility:

Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and prepare key packets
Verify and adjust guest billing, ensuring accuracy
Coordinate with housekeeping to track room status and address guest concerns
Arrange transportation for guests and visitors
Operate the telephone switchboard and respond to guest calls, requests, and messages
Log and process guest requests, contacting appropriate individuals or departments
Confirm reservations and cancellations
Review daily out-of-order rooms

Requirements:

Experience in a Five Star or Five-Diamond luxury hotel is preferred
High School diploma required, 2 or 4 year degree preferred
Knowledge in property management systems like Opera or Fidelio is highly desirable and technical proficiency in Microsoft applications is required
Previous customer service experience in a high volume setting required
The ability to problem solve, and provide exceptional service
Requires strong problem resolution and decision making skills, empathy and personal perseverance
Be a supportive team member and work well with many different nationalities
Strong math or accounting skills
The ability to read, write and speak fluently in English is required
