Job Responsibility:
Create a welcoming and wonderful experience for guests upon arrival, assisting with luggage, directions around the area and hotel, reservations and general enquiries
Assist your team members with guests arriving and departing the hotel through the check in and departure process
Support your front office team in general operational tasks
Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, know it inside and out to exceed guest expectations and fuel their curiosity
Creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional
Being on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance)
Requirements:
Experience with OPERA property management system or similar
Relevant experience in a similar guest-facing role
Current working rights in Australia
Current RSA Certification
Current Driver's License (bonus if able to drive a manual car)
Flexible to working a rotating roster, and open to working overnight/ evening shifts
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
Nice to have:
