Job Responsibility

  • Create a welcoming and wonderful experience for guests upon arrival, assisting with luggage, directions around the area and hotel, reservations and general enquiries
  • Assist your team members with guests arriving and departing the hotel through the check in and departure process
  • Support your front office team in general operational tasks
  • Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, know it inside and out to exceed guest expectations and fuel their curiosity
  • Creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional
  • Being on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance)

Requirements

  • Experience with OPERA property management system or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar guest-facing role
  • Current working rights in Australia
  • Current RSA Certification
  • Current Driver's License (bonus if able to drive a manual car)
  • Flexible to working a rotating roster, and open to working overnight/ evening shifts
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
