Job Description:

The Guest Experience Coordinator is responsible for creating unforgettable guest experiences by overseeing resort entertainment and activities. This role ensures that our mascot, Splasharoo, is actively engaging with guests, all scheduled activities run smoothly, and special events are well-executed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, outgoing, and passionate about guest engagement.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate and schedule Splasharoo appearances throughout the resort, ensuring engaging and fun guest interactions
Perform as Splasharoo or manage trained performers, ensuring energy and enthusiasm during all appearances
Maintain and care for the mascot costume, ensuring cleanliness and repairs as needed
Oversee daily guest activities, including arts & crafts, face painting, movie nights, popcorn service, and more
Ensure activities are set up properly, staffed appropriately, and running smoothly
Assist in planning, organizing, and executing holiday events, themed weekends, and special celebrations (e.g., New Year’s Eve, Easter, St. Patrick’s Day)
Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience through creative programming
Proactively engage with guests to ensure they are having a fun and memorable experience
Gather feedback to improve activity offerings and enhance overall guest satisfaction
Work closely with marketing to promote activities and events on social media and resort communications
Maintain an organized inventory of activity supplies and mascot costume materials
Coordinate staff or volunteers to assist with events and activities
Ensure all entertainment and activity areas are clean, organized, and well-presented

Requirements:

Passion for creating fun and engaging experiences for guests of all ages
Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, entertainment, or guest services preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Outgoing, energetic personality with a guest-first mindset
Comfortable performing in a mascot costume or coordinating performances
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
