The Guest Activities Manager is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the guest activities and concierge experience at Twin Farms. As a key leader within the Rooms Division, this role serves as a primary point of contact for delivering exceptional, personalized guest experiences. This position blends hands-on guest engagement with operational leadership, ensuring seamless coordination of recreational programming, concierge services, and interdepartmental collaboration. The Guest Activities Manager oversees daily operations, supports team members, and ensures all guest interactions reflect the high-touch, anticipatory service standards synonymous with Twin Farms.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise, train, and support Guest Activities Coordinators and related staff
Lead daily operations of the Activities function, ensuring smooth execution of all scheduled and ad hoc guest experiences
Ensure team adherence to service standards, safety protocols, and property policies
Serve as a primary point of contact for guests, delivering warm welcomes and personalized service throughout their stay
Oversee guest itineraries, ensuring all activities, reservations, and special requests are executed seamlessly
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
Maintain and update guest profiles, preferences, and service notes
Coordinate closely with Dining, Housekeeping, Grounds, Maintenance, and Reservations to deliver a seamless guest experience
Ensure all recreational facilities, equipment, and activity areas are prepared, maintained, and presented to Twin Farms standards
Oversee inventory, maintenance, and organization of recreational equipment (bikes, kayaks, skis, etc.)
Develop, promote, and lead recreational activities including outdoor and indoor experiences (e.g., hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing)
Ensure all activities are executed safely and aligned with guest expectations
Support special events, including setup and breakdown of activity-related elements and seasonal programming
Maintain accurate records, including vehicle logs, guest requests, and incident reports
Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of equipment and vehicles
Assist with tracking expenses and supporting cost control efforts related to activities and supplies
Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience guiding and supporting team members
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in activities, recreation, or hospitality operations (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
Exceptional guest service skills with a polished, professional demeanor
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong communication skills across departments and with guests
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
Comfortable operating vehicles and recreational equipment safely
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
High school diploma or equivalent required
