Job Description

Role Mission The Gucci Digital Merchandising Manager will oversee product related activities for Gucci.com within the America's region to reach the full business potential in each category while communicating a consistent brand and product story to our clients. The Digital Merchandising Manager will be part of the regional digital team but will partner closely with the omnichannel merchandising team in addition to the entire merchandising team. The Digital Merchandising Manager plays a critical role ensuring product and assortment strategies are optimized to achieve business goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner closely with merchandising to drive assortment congruency on Gucci.com and provide digital context and expertise to seasonal buys to support the full business potential
  • Analyze product and client performance to identify business opportunities and needs across all categories
  • Partner with Inventory Planning to align stock needs, fueling performance of top-selling products through stock movements to maximize sales across digital channels
  • Place sample orders for the Gucci Live showroom, aligning investments with market-specific client needs to support digital clienteling and drive sales
  • Regularly optimize categorization, navigation, and on-site search, based on trending key words, product trends and SEO recommendations
  • Manage weekly product activations and proactively manage activation of omni assortment styles
  • Identify top performers across both retail and eCommerce channels and develop action-oriented strategies for areas of digital opportunities
  • Communicate with operations, sales, and customer service with regards to site, product, and promotion updates
  • Lead the digital team in all launches, collaborating with the global team in fine tuning site experiences and content to ensure best customer experience
  • Analyze all product performance to identify opportunities and strategize areas to grow
  • Lead cross-functional partners in 360 product kick-off meetings to provide direction on merchandising strategies, unifying teams toward a common goal of digital growth
  • Consult with regional merchandising and content teams to develop regional sizzle moments in addition to key branding moments
  • Leverage key investment strategy and product launches to partner with marketing and eCard teams on key initiatives
  • Partner with Brand Engagement to ensure merchandising objectives are supported by marketing tactics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field desired
  • 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, and/or Digital Merchandising
  • A passion for the fashion industry with strong product knowledge and understanding of eCommerce
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Expertise in Excel, Google Analytics preferred
  • Hands on approach and a strong ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative manner
  • Able to interact with flexibility and diplomacy with key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/ initiatives and set team priorities
  • Pro-active, creative problem solver
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
