Wealth & Premier Solutions (WPS) in GPB&W has been established to deliver an enhanced range of market leading in-house and third-party investment services as well as wealth lending solutions to all client segments across the WPB Wealth Continuum.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process day-to-day guarantee transactions, which includes issuance, amendments and cancellations of guarantees, managing claims, paying or charging commissions (bid bonds, performance bonds, first demand guarantees, financial standby L/C’s, commercial standby L/C’s, counter-guarantees, etc.) ensuring accuracy, authenticity and completeness of all documentation
  • Ensure compliance with internal HSBC policies, procedures, local and international banking regulations and recommend risk mitigation strategies where necessary
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across various seniority levels to communicate effectively
  • Maintain meticulous records of all guarantee transactions as well as prepare regular statistics and reports based on the guarantees portfolio
  • Perform detailed analysis of guarantees porfolio identifying risks and resolving issues that may arise
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the content and aggregate risks within an assigned credit facilities portfolio by monitoring credit violations and providing accurate portfolio valuations with required frequency
  • Maintain credit facilities in core banking system ensuring they are booked correctly
  • Produce credit portfolio MI reports on a monthly or quarterly basis

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in trade finance/bank guarantees/credit preferred
  • Fluency in English and good command of French
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work on multiple projects/tasks at the same time
  • Being proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (with advanced excel a must)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Team player, client oriented, methodical and adaptable
  • Knowledge of basic automation skills beneficial

  • Write and edit impactful communications for in-store programs/initiatives, promotions, visual execution, operational and HR tasks. Tailor communications by audience (Field Leadership, Store Manager, and Associate) to share key objectives, background context and actions needed
  • Proactively plan and distribute these communications in a timely manner to effectively prepare field teams to execute responsibilities, deliver business expectations and maintain excellent customer experience
  • Coordinate the development, review, and delivery of assets and copy to visually support communications, tools and resources such as weekly focuses, associate features, Intranet branding, program and seasonal toolkits, etc.
