Job Description

As our first GTM Knowledge Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of Revenue Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Information Systems within the Go-to-Market Center of Excellence. In this highly impactful role, you’ll build, deploy, and improve the intelligent interfaces, AI agents, and knowledge systems that support our commercial teams and reduce friction across the seller workflow. This role carries a dual mandate. First, you’ll create and operationalize GTM agents that automate seller workflows such as meeting prep, POV generation, certification, stakeholder mapping, and ROI modeling. Second, you’ll help reduce systemic friction across the quote-to-cash process by translating complex packaging, policy, and process requirements into clear, proactive user-layer guardrails that help teams move faster and more consistently.

Job Responsibility

  • Build Enablement Agents & Agentic Layers (75%): Design, code, and ship localized context-aware GTM Agents that solve explicit seller problems
  • Program and maintain the backend orchestration layers that parse active CRM deal metrics to surface the exact right agent, script, or asset
  • Collaborate with the Content Lead to build interactive, automated AI role-play environments and auto-certification frameworks
  • Prototype real-time sales assistance tools and interactive overlays
  • Work with the rest of the Center of Excellence team to create programmatic integrations and automated pipelines
  • Drive Q2C Automation & Systemic Interface Fluency (25%): Master the complete front-end layout of the CPQ platform to map and isolate severe click friction
  • Build inline agent validation paths
  • Program proactive data validation scripts and warning triggers
  • Take abstract, highly complex operational policies and translate them directly into clean, automated rules-of-the-road within user workspaces

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience building and shipping AI agents, conversational interfaces, or enterprise-grade internal applications
  • Technical proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python)
  • experience interacting directly with APIs, vector storage setups, and AI application orchestration frameworks (Claude, modern LLM APIs)
  • Proven background engineering practical, lightweight tools that non-technical users adopt smoothly
  • Thorough systems-level mapping comprehension of modern B2B SaaS workflows, sales deal milestones (MEDDPICC), data monitoring tracking (SQL, Snowflake data models), and enterprise CRM/CPQ navigation parameters
  • Profound code literacy
  • you can open, read, review, optimize, and debug Javascript or Python code directly to build apps that work seamlessly
  • You look at modern sales development as an optimization loop where information architecture and agent automation structurally accelerate human capability
  • Intense bias for action
  • excel at rapid prototyping and build scalable front-ends that make complex systems instantly actionable for non-technical users
  • Authorized to work in the United States

What we offer

  • Equity program
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Health, dental, and vision
  • Flexible Spending Accounts for health and dependent care expenses
  • Paid parental leave and approximately 10 days (80 hours) per year of sick leave
  • Seventeen paid vacation days plus 11 federal holidays
  • Membership to Modern Health
  • Annual allocation for Learning & Development opportunities and applicable professional membership dues
  • Company-sponsored life and disability insurance
  • Work in Uptown Oakland, CA or Midtown New York City
  • Flexible work-from-home days on Tuesdays and Fridays
  • Monthly home internet reimbursement
  • Select your preference of hardware (Mac or PC) and customize your desk setup
  • Enjoy a wide variety of snacks and beverages in the office
  • Bond over company-wide out-of-the-box events and fun activities with your team
  • Take advantage of learning and career development opportunities

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience building production software, data, or AI systems - ideally inside a GTM, RevOps, or analytics engineering function at a B2B SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered applications in production, including prompt engineering, evaluation, and the integration patterns required to ground models in business data
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tooling - particularly DBT and Fivetran - and an understanding of how clean, well-modeled data enables reliable AI outputs
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with working knowledge of REST APIs and Salesforce APIs (SFDC), comfort with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, Secret Manager), and experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform
  • Demonstrated ability to scope an ambiguous business problem, ship a working v1 quickly, and iterate based on user feedback - not just deliver requirements as written
  • Comfortable operating in environments where you're the builder but not always the one defining what to build - able to extract requirements from non-technical SMEs across Sales, CS, RevOps, and Finance, scope work collaboratively, and drive projects to completion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to partner directly with non-technical GTM stakeholders and translate business problems into technical scopes
  • Ambitious and biased toward action - you thrive in fast-moving environments, prefer shipping over speccing, and are energized by seeing your work in the hands of real users

  • Partner with frontline reps and CSMs as design partners — co-designing solutions, iterating in production, and driving real adoption rather than dashboards nobody opens
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operation), Strategy & Operations, Product, Enablement, Customer Success, Sales, and FP&A to surface the right problems and build solutions that stick
  • Contribute to the team-wide AI developer infrastructure (skills libraries, MCP integrations, prompt frameworks) that makes every D&A engineer and analyst faster at deploying AI
  • Help establish the technical patterns and reusable components that will power our next generation of GTM AI products as the function scales
