Job Description:

As a GSOC Operator - Swing Shift in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and communicating throughout a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed
  • Monitor and coordinate communication between various teams and personnel within the logistics and distribution location
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, dispatching assistance as appropriate
  • Maintain detailed records of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site protocols
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
  • Operate communication equipment to receive and relay information efficiently
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing timely information and updates on incidents or operational needs
  • Follow post orders and instructions to maintain the security-related integrity of the location

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Nice to have:

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Customer service experience is preferred

  • Collect, evaluate, and disseminate situations and incidents relating to CCTV and Access control systems, at the GSOC level--to support the safety and security of client personnel, facilities and assets, business operations, and reputation
