We are looking for a technical growth marketing manager to support the GTM motion for the most critical layer of the AI stack - the human data that powers frontier models. Your audience isn't a generic "marketing director." You are targeting the builders at the world’s leading AI labs. You understand that "Growth" in this sector doesn't mean spamming emails. It means demonstrating technical competency, signal based intent, and positioning Prolific as the inevitable infrastructure for safe and capable AI.
Job Responsibility:
The "Un-Marketing" strategy: You will drive growth through credibility. This could also mean organizing technical roundtables, sponsoring hackathons, engaging in Hugging Face/Discord communities, and distributing technical white papers that solve actual engineering problems.
Technical storytelling: You will translate our platform’s capabilities into the language of the researcher. You aren't talking about "surveys"
you are talking about "reducing hallucination rates via high-quality RLHF" and "adversarial testing workflows."
Full funnel ownership: You connect the dots between a researcher reading our documentation and a procurement deal for enterprise-grade data access. You will work lockstep with our sales and services team to accelerate deal velocity and develop deal opportunities.
Precision performance execution: You will treat every channel—from technical newsletter sponsorships and paid social to programmatic outbound and AEO - as a laboratory. You bring deep fluency in performance marketing mechanics (bidding strategies, A/B testing, and conversion API integration). You prioritize pipeline quality over vanity metrics.
Orchestrating signal-based GTM: You will move beyond generic ABM. You will build systems that ingest technical signals (e.g., new repo stars on GitHub, Arxiv paper publications, and funding rounds for foundation model startups) to trigger hyperrelevant, low-volume, high-impact outreach or digital marketing campaigns.
AI-augmented execution: You will build your own stack. You’ll use AI to scrape public data, personalize outreach at scale, analyze channel health, and generate content variations. If you are doing manual data entry, you are doing it wrong.
Requirements:
You speak "Engineer": You might not write production code, but you understand the AI lifecycle. You know the difference between SFT and RLHF. You enjoy reading published research on complex topics.
You are an AI native builder: You don’t wait for Ops to build you a report. You are comfortable with tools like Clay, Zapier, Cowork, Skills or custom GPTs to hack together a workflow that gets the job done today, not next month.
Comfortable with change: You are a high velocity learner. The AI landscape changes weekly. You are relentless when it comes to keeping abreast of what’s happening in the model development space.
You are a commercial killer: While you love the tech, you are here to drive revenue. You are obsessed with pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and CAC efficiency. You treat growth as a science experiment where ROI is the only metric that matters.
Execution bias: You have a database of initiatives where you identified a problem, built the solution, and measured the impact - all without waiting for permission.
