You'll be powering InvestorHub's growth function - doing the work alongside a team, not watching from the sidelines as we build and expand our growth team. This is a player-coach role: you'll execute our strategy, lead our new growth team while staying deeply embedded in execution across marketing, community, content, and partnerships. Our market is different to most. We don’t have a discovery problem - we only work with listed companies in Australia and the UK. As such we know who all our potential customers are. Your goal is to build awareness and add value to this group. We're a startup that builds its leaders from within, so this role is designed for someone who's ready to step up into lead role without stepping away from the day to day operations. You'll embed with our GTM team and work closely across sales and growth.
Job Responsibility:
work with your colleagues in growth to manage and setup our podcast, website, jump in on community dinners or deliver materials for the sales team
create content for our website, newsletter, lead our community events and own our partnerships and external affairs
lead and work alongside a small but mighty team of growth associates, with potential to build the function as we scale-up over the next 18 months
own the growth roadmap, not just report on it but drive it forward and execute with a view of what’s working and what’s not
connect growth activities to commercial outcomes, pipeline and revenue to drive results for our client and sales team
build the systems and processes that help the team operate better over time
design sales enablement material — helping build the content and tools that make sales conversations land better
work with our team across both our Melbourne and London offices
Requirements:
~5 years as a generalist in growth, marketing, community, or communications — ideally in a B2B startup environment or capital markets
An ability to turn ideas into action and support the team’s thought leadership activities in the startup and capital markets space
Commercial thinking - you connect content and growth activities to pipeline and business outcomes
Strong communication skills across video, writing, presenting, and stakeholder management
An understanding of capital markets, or a genuine willingness to develop it quickly
Creative problem solving skills so you can clear blockers as they happen and optimise how you work and our growth funnels
Curiousity and up to date knowledge or a willingness to learn the latest tools to leverage content - whether that’s AI, AEO or SEO options
