Job Description

Join Vetcove and help modernize the future of veterinary software and the pet parent healthcare experience. Our suite of platforms features a market-leading procurement marketplace, an ultra-modern home delivery ecommerce experience, and a next-generation practice management system. More than 25,000 hospitals across all 50 states rely on Vetcove daily, supporting tens of thousands of veterinarians who care for tens of millions of pets each year. We are modernizing the 50 billion dollar plus animal health industry by giving veterinary organizations the tools to focus more on patient care. Backed by Y Combinator and top venture investors in Silicon Valley, New York and Miami, Vetcove is a fast-growing, mission-driven company. We are searching for talented and passionate people who want to help shape the future of veterinary care. We are looking for a Growth Lead, PIMS to own how veterinary clinics use Vetcove’s PIMS-powered customer relationship management tools to grow their business. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing strategy, and AI-driven systems, with a focus on helping clinics unlock revenue through scalable, automated customer journeys. You will define how our AI-powered marketing journeys should work, what guardrails are required, and how clinics can drive outsized growth without adding operational burden. Rather than building one-off campaigns, this role is responsible for designing the playbooks, experimentation frameworks, and growth loops that power a clinic’s AI-driven marketing experiences. You will deeply understand the pet parent voice, apply traditional lifecycle and email marketing principles as inspiration, and then push beyond them using AI, automation, and creative growth hacks. You will partner closely with Product to shape features that enable clinics to increase retention, upsell services, and grow client revenue in ways that have not been possible in veterinary software before.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering to define AI-powered marketing capabilities and infrastructure within the Vetcove PIMS
  • Own the strategy for AI-driven marketing journeys, including experimentation frameworks, messaging guardrails, personalization logic, and automation rules
  • Design and maintain scalable marketing playbooks that enable rapid iteration and growth without hard-coded content
  • Continuously identify and test growth hacks that clinics can leverage to increase engagement, retention, upsell, and ARPC
  • Translate proven email and lifecycle marketing strategies into AI-enabled systems that learn and improve over time
  • Serve as the internal expert on pet parent psychology, messaging, and behavioral triggers
  • Partner with Product to ideate, prototype, and validate new features that unlock novel growth opportunities for clinics
  • Use data and experimentation to refine journeys, playbooks, and AI guardrails based on real-world performance
  • Advocate for scalable, low-effort growth mechanisms that clinics can benefit from automatically
  • Create clear guidance, examples, and best practices to drive internal alignment and clinic adoption of AI marketing tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, or a related role
  • Expertise prompt engineering AI systems to produce consistent, reliable results
  • Hands-on experience designing or operating AI-driven, automated, or rules-based marketing systems
  • Strong understanding of email marketing, customer journeys, and experimentation methodologies
  • A track record of identifying and executing creative growth hacks that drive measurable business impact
  • Comfort partnering deeply with product and engineering teams on systems, tooling, and infrastructure
  • Ability to design flexible frameworks and guardrails rather than one-off campaigns
  • Strong intuition for consumer voice and persuasive messaging, especially in trust-based or service-oriented industries
  • Data-informed but creatively driven, with a bias toward testing, learning, and iteration
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and energized by building new growth engines from scratch

What we offer

  • 100% remote within the USA
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Automatic 401k contribution
  • Employee referral program
  • At home office set up
  • Bi-annual company retreats
  • Open vacation policy
  • Equity
  • Monthly team events
