Job Description

Our client is leading destination management travel company dealing with inbound travel within the UK. Working with international travel agent partners, they specialise in group tours, cruises and day excursions for their clients. They are now seeking an experienced Groups Travel Operations Executive who has previous knowledge of the inbound sector working with groups coming into the UK.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the smooth running of tours, from initial inquiry through to last travel day supporting the Group Tours Manager
  • Monitoring the pre booking and post booking process
  • Working closely with Group Tours Manager supporting with ad hoc requests
  • Maintaining good working relationships with suppliers and clients

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within groups with good knowledge of the UK in terms of day trips, attractions etc
  • A good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Solid understanding of the UK inbound travel and tourism industry
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop relationships with travel agent partners
