Actively source, secure, and manage group bookings, conferences, and high-end social events (MICE)
Attend internal meetings, corporate conference calls, client appointments, and industry networking events
Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to maximize revenue for historic banquet halls, meeting rooms, and unique courtyard spaces
Be responsible for achieving personal sales targets, maximizing event revenue, and increasing fair market share against competitor hotels
Conduct personalized site inspections and represent the hotel, telling the story of the historic 13th-century property to potential clients and event planners
Requirements
Strong network of relationships and deep knowledge of the local and international MICE market
Proven track record in luxury hotel sales, groups, or event management with a sharp understanding of market trends
Strong negotiation skills, creativity, and a sharp eye for detail when customizing event proposals
Impeccable command of both English and Czech (additional languages are a distinct advantage)
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of Opera Cloud (or similar PMS/Sales systems) is a big plus
