Job Description:

As a Groups Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering seamless experiences for group bookings and events. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Distribution, you’ll be the link between Sales, Events, Revenue, and our valued guests—ensuring every detail is perfectly aligned for successful stays and events.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate group accommodation blocks, rooming lists, and run sheets
Build and manage group bookings in Opera, including mini-hotels and rate configurations
Liaise with event organisers to ensure timely and accurate room allocations
Process reservation updates and manage group-related communications professionally
Support event planning by contributing to run-downs and attending pre-conference meetings
Ensure accuracy across all systems (Opera, MARSHA, CI/TY)
Maintain billing accuracy, guest profiles, and ensure all routing is correct
Promote Marriott Bonvoy Group Occupancy and use tools to drive member enrolments
Provide exceptional service to clients and internal teams from start to finish

Requirements:

Excellent communication and coordination skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Familiarity with Opera PMS and hotel systems preferred
A collaborative mindset and commitment to service excellence
Passion for hospitality and a drive to exceed expectations
