Joining the pre-opening team, the Group Sales Manager generates resort awareness through direct phone sales, direct sales calls, tradeshows and networking groups, and works closely with our commercial team to solicit, sell and confirm group business required to meet budgeted sales goals. Candidates should possess the ability to solicit group travel and have a high degree of independence judgement and discretion on decision making. This role will be US based and operate remotely while requiring regular on‑site travel to the property as needed. The designated office location is still to be determined. Target start date for this role is June/July of 2026.
Job Responsibility:
Promote and sell to group market
Generate hotel awareness through direct phone sales, direct sales calls, trade-shows and networking groups
Lead proactive sales initiatives, including identifying new group business opportunities through strategic prospecting, targeted outreach, and creative lead‑generation efforts
Perform daily telephone and email solicitations to new and existing accounts/customers in defined geographic region
Promote awareness to corporate, incentive and association markets via travel to respective regions in the country providing presentations and personal sales calls as needed
Maintain communication/relationship with WSO network for specific assigned region, as well as other FS hotels toward achieving pre-determined revenue goal
Create and execute direct sales plan specific to market assignment
When on property, conduct tours of property to meeting planners and other potential customers while informing of all hotel services available
entertain customers during site inspections, pre-planning trips, and program operation when appropriate
Work closely with conference services and catering through execution of definite program
Coordinate all sales related activity through the direction of Commercial Director
negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability while satisfying customer needs
Excellent knowledge of Golden account management system to achieve FS minimum Golden standards, while utilizing Delphi as an account/organizational tool
have a working knowledge of regional competition
Participate in hotel specific, and Four Seasons sponsored sales trips and telephone blitz activity
Requirements:
Strong communications (telephone and in person)
Strong writing and oral presentation skills in both English and Spanish
3 to 5 years in a similar role, Luxury brand preferred
Basic knowledge of hotel operation
