Job Description:

In this role, you will define, govern, and elevate Adisseo's project management (PM) standards across the Group. You will ensure flawless execution of strategic projects, with an initial focus on large industrial and capital investments, while building a durable PM capability for the future. You will provide functional leadership to Strategic Project Directors, act as a guardian of project governance, value delivery, and ensure high-quality Group-level reporting to Sinochem.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define, own, and continuously improve Adisseo's Project Management Framework
  • operate a lean PMO control tower covering methodology, talent, and knowledge management
  • ensure full alignment with PMI standards and recognized FEL/stage-gate practices for capital projects
  • supervise and coach Strategic Project Directors/Managers across major programs
  • lead independent project audits
  • consolidate portfolio-level insights on cost, schedule, risks, and benefits
  • validate project readiness at each gate and recommend decisions to Sponsors and Steering Committees
  • enforce discipline on scope, cost, schedule, risk, and compliance before commitment decisions
  • design and run the Adisseo Project Academy
  • build and animate a strong community of Project Directors/Managers
  • drive structured lessons learned and continuous improvement
  • own PM standards, templates, and tools and their integration with Finance, Procurement, and HSE systems
  • act as a key interface with EXCOM members, functional leaders, regional/site leadership, and China project teams

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Industrial) or equivalent with at least 10 years leading large, complex projects and/or programs in chemical, process, energy, or comparable capital intensive industries
  • demonstrable track record in industrial projects from definition to start up
  • 5+ years in PMO, enterprise project excellence, or assurance roles
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification strongly appreciated
  • additional credentials in PMO leadership, risk management, contracts/claims, or process safety are a plus
  • strong hands-on experience with stage-gate / FEL methodologies and risk-based decision making
  • proven ability to influence senior sponsors and lead in a matrix, international environment
  • deep expertise in project governance, cost & schedule control, risk management, and assurance
  • strong analytical mindset, structured communication, and coaching capability
  • fluent English required
  • French and/or Chinese are strong assets
  • role model for project excellence, safety, and ethical compliance
