Job Description

We're looking for a Group Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of an entire product line while leading and developing a team of 3-5 Product Managers. This is a pivotal leadership role that combines hands-on product expertise with people management, strategic stakeholder engagement, and go-to-market ownership. As a Group PM at Spendesk, you'll be responsible for setting the vision and roadmap for your product line, ensuring it delivers exceptional value to customers while driving meaningful business impact. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing — translating complex market needs into coherent product strategies that your team can execute on.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and own the multi-year vision and strategy for your product line
  • Drive the product line roadmap, balancing innovation, customer needs, technical debt, and business priorities
  • Establish success metrics and OKRs at the product line level
  • Build competitive differentiation by deeply understanding market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs
  • Partner with Marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and launch strategies
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to define ideal customer profiles, pricing strategies, and sales enablement materials
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3-5 Product Managers
  • Hire and onboard exceptional product talent
  • Serve as the primary product point of contact for C-level executives, key customers, and strategic partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Engineering and Design leadership to ensure technical feasibility and exceptional user experience

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or fintech
  • At least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of managing and developing Product Managers
  • Deep expertise in finance operations, spend management, procurement, or adjacent domains is a plus
  • Experience setting product line strategy and executing multi-quarter roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of complex data models, enterprise workflows, and scalable system architecture
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership, enterprise customers, and large internal audiences
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, build consensus, and drive decisions
  • Strong analytical mindset
