Job Description:

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role will provide strategic and operational leadership across all geological and exploration activities for the Company, across it’s Projects, both locally and internationally. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality resource definition, management of regional and near mine exploration programs and hydrogeological programs while supporting business development through robust technical evaluation and advice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary exploration team of geologists, hydrogeologists, and field staff
  • Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term exploration strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring compliance with statutory, environmental, and reporting requirements
  • Oversee regional exploration programs to identify and advance new lithium opportunities, integrating geological, geochemical, geophysical, and drilling data to drive discovery and resource growth
  • Provide strategic oversite to our Brazilian exploration group
  • Manage exploration budgets, schedules, and contractor performance
  • Oversee mineral resource definition and growth activities, ensuring JORC Code compliance across operating and development assets
  • Provide technical oversight of geological models, databases, and QA/QC systems
  • Oversee hydrogeological studies ensuring models support resource development, mine planning, and permitting, including guidance on groundwater monitoring, dewatering strategies, and external consultants
  • Prepare and present technical assessments, risk analyses, Board Papers and investor supporting documentation as required
  • Support Business Development through technical guidance, due diligence, and review of acquisition and JV opportunities
  • Represent the Company in technical discussions with partners, regulators, and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology essential
  • Postgraduate or Masters in economic geology, hydrogeology or resource geology desirable
  • Professional membership, such as AusIMM or AIG
  • 12+ years’ experience in mineral exploration and resource geology
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience in resource estimation, exploration strategy, and regional targeting
  • Experience in lithium or hard rock pegmatite systems is highly regarded
  • Exposure to Business Development, technical evaluations and due diligence highly desireable
