Job Responsibility

  • Undertaking hydraulic and hydrological modelling – TUFLOW, URBS, XP RAFTS and WBNM preferred
  • Assistance/mentorship to junior members of the team
  • Producing clear and concise technical reports
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Flood modelling of creek and river systems and overland flow paths
  • Modelling of pipe drainage networks and stormwater quality treatment trains
  • Collaboration with designers, environmental scientists, planners and engineers to deliver designs that are innovative, environmentally sensitive and practical
  • Interaction with clients in order to nurture long lasting relationships

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably post-graduate
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland
  • Minimum of 8 years’ related work, leadership, financial management and consulting experience
  • Expertise in leading teams will be highly regarded
  • Expertise with dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies
  • Highly experienced in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling with demonstrated experience aligned with the technical responsibilities of the role
