In this pivotal role on our Manufacturing team, you will work collaboratively with Group Leaders and Supervisors to determine staff requirements, prioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved, and that production plans are successfully implemented! As the backup Group Leader you are able to fill in for the Group Leader when they are absent, assist Group Leader with staff planning / management, minimizing production downtime by ensuring Operators have the necessary tools and parts, assisting the Group Leaders with scrap recording, and directing your team to achieve the hourly quotas for your assigned area. You will be the first level of escalation to resolve production issues and ensure tasks are met!

  • High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree preferred
  • 2-4 years' experience
  • good mechanical dexterity/eyesight, ability to read, write and use basic math
  • maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks
  • ability to adapt to a changing work environment
  • increased automation, change in production methods or sequences and rotation among workstations
  • work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities
  • may be requested to work overtime, as needed
  • natural or corrected near-distance visual acuity of 20/25 and the ability to differentiate between colors
  • ability to lift 40lbs and work in various positions: standing, sitting, and working on repetitive jobs/assemblies
