Job Description:

The main objective of the position is to design and maintain a robust and scalable IT infrastructure to support the organization's strategic goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cloud system management: ensuring the availability, security, and efficiency of cloud systems and infrastructure, and managing costs related to cloud services
  • User support: providing 1st and 2nd level support for users, both remote and local, and ensuring users are satisfied with the support provided
  • Supporting cybersecurity incident management: managing cybersecurity incidents, investigations, and requests, and ensuring that Luxaviation Group's cloud systems and infrastructure are secure
  • Cloud system administration: administering various cloud systems, with a focus on Azure, as well as Office 365, Salesforce, and other platforms
  • Supporting system patching and policy management: managing systems with patching and policies using ManageEngine and Microsoft Endpoint
  • Responsibility matrix adherence: adhering to responsibilities outlined in the attached matrix and completing monthly reports
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing and monitoring cloud systems and infrastructure, preferably in a large organization
  • Recent experience in Azure is mandatory
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure and recommended in AWS
  • Experience in administering Azure functions, 365 administration and other Microsoft products
  • Experience in providing 1st and 2nd level support for users, both remote and local
  • Familiarity with ManageEngine and Microsoft Endpoint
  • Experience in managing system patching and policies
  • Recommended familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Linux experience is a recommended bonus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Recommended qualifications such as AZ900, SC900, AZ104, Linux+ and other platform qualifications are highly desirable

Nice to have:

  • Recommended familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
