Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement a supplier engagement strategy to align supplier performance with client needs and support long-term growth
Act as the senior point of contact for appointed companies and the broader supplier market, fostering strong, collaborative relationships
Lead post-delivery framework management to ensure client expectations are met and identify opportunities for improvement
Facilitate framework alliance meetings to share best practices, evaluate performance, and drive innovation
Collaborate on pre-tender engagement activities to broaden our supplier reach and enhance the Group’s profile
Design and implement performance measurement metrics to track and improve supplier performance
Champion social value initiatives in collaboration with the Group Social Value Manager
Represent LHCPG at regional and national industry events to strengthen relationships and raise our profile.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in supplier relationship management or a related role within the construction sector
Strong knowledge of public sector procurement and pre-tendered frameworks
Ability to develop strategic and actionable plans to drive supplier engagement and performance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders and external partners
A working knowledge of social value sectors and delivering community benefits through procurement
Desirable: Degree in a technical discipline, CIOB accreditation, or CSCS accreditation.
