Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Group Grading Expert (f/h) to join our Executive Reward team based in Toulouse, France. How Airbus compensates and rewards employees is crucial. Airbus focuses on aligning its reward strategy to its business objectives in order to attract and retain the best talent available in the marketplace on the right job. In this context, Airbus Reward Function defines policies and provides analysis as well as expert support so that the strategy is consistently applied throughout the Group. Within this organization, the Executive Reward team manages contracts, compensation and grading processes of Airbus all Divisions and world-wide. In the team of the Head of Executive Reward, the Group Grading Expert manages day-to-day activity within the team and supports the full range of Grading topics: strategy and ambition, methodology, job evaluations, analytics and reporting as well as adhoc projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and act as the guarantor of the internal job evaluation methodology for all populations at Airbus, coordinating through and supported by the Job Value Community of Practice
  • Shape and propose a new grading strategy and ambition for all populations all Divisions and Worldwide including the Regions to better support the business needs notably through job catalogue and job levelling ambition review, global harmonization of our processes and its implementation cross-Division and cross-country
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the grading methodologies for our Executive population, ensuring consistency across all Functions, Divisions and locations
  • Conduct job evaluations for new and existing Executive jobs and provide detailed outcomes for Executive Reward and Ho HRs final review and validation
  • Act as a trusted advisor on all matters related to the Executive job evaluation
  • Establish and/or enforce and/or reinforce policies, procedures and guidelines for job grading in close collaboration with the Job Value Community of Practice
  • Lead and animate the Job Value Community of Practice
  • In charge of Executive grading analytics and reporting
  • Run the quarterly Executive Landscape reviews
  • For quarterly reports, edit statistics and coordinate data consolidation across Divisions
  • Provide ad’hoc specific follow-up and data analysis on key strategic initiatives
  • Act as the Workday Business Owner for the implementation of the grading of the position in Workday
  • Inject new ways of working to modernize the grading activity, leveraging Artificial Intelligence, G-Sites and any other digital tools
  • Serve as a key contributor to the strategic AI project “from grading to salary offer”
  • Provide expert grading support to critical HR projects

Requirements:

  • Strong experience and knowledge in job evaluation and grading with expert knowledge of the Willis Tower Watson (WTW) grading methodology
  • Strong knowledge of the Airbus business organization cross-Divisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise, influence and build trustful relationships with Senior HRs and business leaders
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a large-scale, international and complex matrix organization
  • Proactive and innovative mindset with an interest in leveraging digital tools and Artificial Intelligence to improve HR processes
  • Well organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Great team player and like to work in a collaborative and transnational/transdivisional team
  • Fluent and have excellent writing skills in English
  • any additional language is a plus

  • Excellent Google suite skills (Doc, Sheet, Slides)
  • Already used Workday/MyPULSE as internal HR Information system and worked with it on a day-to-day basis
