Job Description:

The Group General Manager – Finance will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of all finance activities across Lucas Collective. This role includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, business planning, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, manage, and provide direction for the finance and accounting team
Strategically manage finances, optimising costs and revenue
Prepare and analyse management accounts, including current and capital expenditure
Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow projections
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, taxation, and banking arrangements
Manage annual audits and preparation of audited financial accounts
Provide strategic financial recommendations to the executive team
Advise on long-term business and financial planning
Develop strong relationships with senior management, suppliers, and external partners
Review and maintain finance-related procedures across the group

Requirements:

10+ years in a similar finance leadership role
Experience in hospitality, retail, or similar industries is beneficial
Familiarity with H&L or similar POS systems, and Netsuite or equivalent accounting software
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Ability to lead, manage, and develop small to medium teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
Degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or related discipline
CPA or equivalent preferred but not mandatory

Nice to have:

Experience in hospitality, retail, or similar industries is beneficial
CPA or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
