Personal Training certification
Ability to teach strength classes
Current CPR/AED certification
3-5 years of experience working in the field
Ability to move, carry, and lift equipment to 100 pounds
Ability to bend and reach high and low levels
Demonstrate physical endurance for up to 60 minutes during continuous cardiovascular movement
Open availability (weekday, weekends, morning/evenings)

Requirements

1+ years experience in a fitness center environment teaching group fitness classes in formats such as Bootcamp, HIIT, core, Pilates, etc.
Valid Group Fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization
Up-to-date CPR and AED certification
Technologically savvy and can assist members with class and training sign-ups through native technology as needed

Job Responsibility

Plan and lead group fitness classes throughout two locations in greater Houston
Have at least two regularly scheduled weekly classes, and be available to be on-call for additional classes as needed
Provide timely and professional communication to members before and after sessions
Ensure a wonderful experience for clients by anticipating their needs and bringing special touches to every session
Prioritize client satisfaction by actively engaging with the client to understand their needs and preferences
Implement innovative strategies and programs to enhance their experience
Support the Host Team with projects to increase client engagement and member experience

Requirements

Experience leading group exercise classes
Group Fitness and Senior Fitness Specialist Certification (ACE)
Previous experience working with older adults preferred
Would you be willing to take a criminal background check administered in accordance with state and federal law, if required by the employer for the assignment
Do you have registration and training as a Senior Fitness Instructor with the American Senior Fitness Association
Are you legally authorized to work in the United States
Have you completed a four 4-year university level program in exercise science OR have a nationally recognized certification in Senior Personal Training with an additional three 3 years experience working with older adults
Do you have experience in older adult health and fitness

Ensure our residents are able to live the best rest of their lives
Compile input from residents to tailor group fitness classes for the community
Successfully advertise PrimeFit Group Fitness classes to residents, families and the community

Responsible for providing personal health and fitness services for residents including fitness center and equipment orientations, fitness assessments, personalized exercise prescription, and general guidance with health and fitness programs
Responsible for conducting private and small group personal training sessions
