Job Description:

Your mission is to lead group fitness sessions across various locations within the Chicago market, while providing the highest level of customer service. You will also offer member support from the front desk during desk coverage shifts, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere at each location you step into.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and lead group fitness classes throughout various locations in downtown Chicago
  • Have at least two regularly scheduled weekly classes, and be available to be on-call for additional classes as needed
  • Provide timely and professional communication to members before and after sessions to ensure a hospitality-focused experience
  • Ensure a wonderful experience for clients by anticipating their needs and bringing special touches to every session
  • Prioritize client satisfaction by actively engaging with the client to understand their needs and preferences
  • Implement innovative strategies and programs to enhance their experience
  • Support the Operations Team with projects to increase client engagement and member experience

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in a fitness center environment teaching group fitness classes in formats such as Bootcamp, HIIT, core, etc
  • valid Group Fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization
  • up-to-date CPR and AED certification
  • technologically savvy and can assist members with class and training sign-ups through native technology as needed

Nice to have:

Experience in the corporate fitness or wellness sector
