Job Description

Come join us as our new Fire Risk Assessor and work within a successful Health & Safety team. As our Group Fire Risk Manager, your role is fundamental to our mission of making homes, businesses, and lives better. You will work methodically to identify fire hazards and risks to people and property through comprehensive site inspections. Partnering closely with Regional Management and the Group senior management team, you will lead, deliver, and own overarching strategies that ensure legal compliance, protect lives and assets, and foster a proactive safety culture across our entire organisation.

Job Responsibility

  • Methodically inspect sites to identify fire hazards and risks to people and property
  • Partner with Regional Management and the Group senior management team to lead, deliver, and own safety strategies
  • Maintain legally compliant, detailed reports to ensure full alignment with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
  • Oversee and drive core operational safety metrics, including cost reductions, comprehensive accident reporting, logging near misses, and managing the lost time injury frequency rate
  • Foster an organizational-wide, proactive safety culture to safeguard teams and corporate assets

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the fire safety industry or similar role
  • Relevant experience with the fire service or health and safety more generally
  • Able to work & engage with business stakeholders to manage Fire compliance
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices & an interest to seek this information
  • Fire risk assessor - CPD and/or RoSPA accredited
  • UK driving license, clean
