We are looking for a hands-on Finance Leader to establish the Group’s financial framework from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to join a business in its scaling phase, where you will not just manage operations but actively build the infrastructure for a future regional powerhouse. Reporting directly to the Finance Director / CFO, you will oversee the Group’s financial health and provide strategic oversight to business units operating across multiple jurisdictions. You will be responsible for leading a finance team of 3-4 direct reports located in different operating geographies.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and financial governance across all group entities to ensure standardized operations
Oversee the full accounting function, including month-end/year-end closing, consolidation of financial statements, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
Build and maintain robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making and business expansion initiatives
Actively manage the Group’s cash flow, working capital, and intercompany funding to ensure appropriate liquidity and minimize risk exposures
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely filings and adherence to IFRS/Local GAAP and statutory obligations
Lead the development of the finance team by recruiting, training, and managing staff, ensuring high standards of confidentiality and quality
Requirements:
Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in multi-entity, cross-border operations
Prior experience in a regulated or sensitive industry is highly preferred
Strong written and spoken proficiency in both English and Chinese is mandatory
Deep knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAP
Proficient in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems
Must be ready to travel 25–50% of the time for cross-entity audits, site visits, or stakeholder meetings
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
A professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
High integrity, professional ethics, and meticulous attention to detail are essential
