We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in managing the accounting agenda for our legal entities. Job Responsibility

  • Managing the full accounting agenda for assigned legal entities and accounting areas
  • Preparing monthly and year-end financial closings
  • Processing and reviewing invoices, journal entries, and other accounting transactions
  • Performing regular account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
  • Preparing financial statements and supporting internal reporting activities
  • Coordinating with external accounting firms and supporting external audits
  • Preparing reports for external stakeholders, including investor and statutory reporting
  • Monitoring changes in Czech accounting and tax legislation and implementing them in practice
  • Developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Participating in finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation, automation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of junior colleagues when needed

Requirements

  • Secondary or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting
  • Solid experience with monthly and annual financial closings and audit preparation
  • Strong knowledge of Czech Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Good understanding of Czech tax regulations, particularly VAT and Corporate Income Tax
  • Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Odoo, Premiere, or similar ERP solutions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams
  • Czech at a native or fluent level, English at an active working level

Nice to have

Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
