We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in managing the accounting agenda for our legal entities. Job Responsibility
Managing the full accounting agenda for assigned legal entities and accounting areas
Preparing monthly and year-end financial closings
Processing and reviewing invoices, journal entries, and other accounting transactions
Performing regular account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
Preparing financial statements and supporting internal reporting activities
Coordinating with external accounting firms and supporting external audits
Preparing reports for external stakeholders, including investor and statutory reporting
Monitoring changes in Czech accounting and tax legislation and implementing them in practice
Developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Participating in finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation, automation, and process improvement initiatives
Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of junior colleagues when needed
Requirements
Secondary or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
At least 7 years of experience in accounting
Solid experience with monthly and annual financial closings and audit preparation
Strong knowledge of Czech Accounting Standards (CAS)
Good understanding of Czech tax regulations, particularly VAT and Corporate Income Tax
Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
Experience with accounting systems such as Odoo, Premiere, or similar ERP solutions
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams
Czech at a native or fluent level, English at an active working level
Nice to have
Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
