Creative X is a global, integrated creative agency that drives the creative vision for our brands and how they are perceived in the world. We develop the vision for next-generation creative advertising, consumer brand content and experiences for Meta, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and our hardware products. We are seeking a Director of Brand Design to lead the brand development of Meta’s AR/VR technology portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for activating brand strategies and driving forward a design led vision for Meta’s AR/VR consumer journey and brand touch points. This role will guide both internal and external teams to develop distinctively Meta experiences across software, hardware, retail, packaging and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive the global brand design strategy for Meta’s AR/VR products, packaging, retail and experiential
  • Elevate the end to end consumer journey people experience with Meta hardware products
  • Lead an industry-leading team to develop original, breakthrough brand systems, behaviors and design solutions that serve a global audience
  • Foster and grow brand design through enabling an industry-leading design team
  • Drive decision making processes and ways of working to improve performance, quality and integrated approaches to execution
  • Lead with vision, influencing Marketing, Product and Business leadership to develop holistic brand systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15+ years experience in design, building consumer brands globally
  • 10+ years of demonstrated people management experience coaching and developing team members
  • Experience leading with creative vision, purpose and innovation
  • Experience driving business results in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Experience building portfolio brands and working with brand architecture
  • Experience across integrated design work: traditional, product, packaging, retail and experiential
  • Experience managing and leading work with internal and external teams
  • Experience recruiting talent and developing design careers
  • Experience collaborating, driving consensus among highly cross functional teams
  • Experience partnering with and influencing Chief Marketing Officers and other executive stakeholders
