Job Description

As the Group Cost Accountant you will be working with the Cost Accountant Manager across the European sites providing consistent costing data and analytics to give insight into product costs. Develop indepth reporting on variances, costs and margins. Develop SAP processes and knowledge to optimise the available data for business decision making and performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 solid years of Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment [essential]
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or business related degree [desirable]
  • Must have a strong Cost systems background [essential]
  • Excellent analytical skills [essential]
  • Sound understanding of accounting principals [essential]
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook, Powerpoint and Word [essential]
  • Experience with SAP highly [desirable]
  • Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards [desirable]
  • Ability to accurately prepare and interpret daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports [essential]
