Job Description

We are seeking a talented and driven candidate with a Business Control, or Controlling-like, background, ideally with experience from a fast-paced industry or tech company, to join Instabee’s Group FP&A team as a Group Controller. The successful candidate will be highly involved in building and developing our Group FP&A function. This is a broad role that spans from finance process development to financial control-like tasks. It offers clear opportunities for growth, with a strong focus on enhancing and refining our finance processes, workflows, and reports. You will collaborate closely with all parts of our Finance organization and have clear touchpoints with Group department heads and other stakeholders. As a key contributor, you will drive processes as financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role provides a chance to join one of Sweden's fastest-growing companies. Job Responsibility

  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Ownership of Group overhead costs reporting
  • Collaborate with Group accountants during the monthly book-close process
  • Ensure quality in financials, analyze results, and manage deviations (vs. budget/forecast, previous periods)
  • Drive insights and summarize financial performance in written comments
  • Contribute to investor reporting
  • Budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Take ownership of Group overhead costs budgeting and forecasting
  • Update weekly EBITDA estimates
  • Consolidation and quality assurance
  • Participate in consolidation, review, and quality assurance of Group financial reports, EBITDA estimates, and budgets/forecasts
  • Department follow-ups and finance business partnership
  • Take ownership of cost follow-ups for Group departments
  • Provide finance and analytics expertise to support Group department heads
  • Definitions, tools, and best practices
  • Collaborate with Business Controllers to develop and implement best practices for FP&A, including standardized definitions, tools, and process improvements

Requirements

  • Exceptional motivation and drive
  • Outstanding analytical skills and great spreadsheet expertise
  • Structured and methodical approach
  • Basic understanding - as well as an interest - in accounting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
  • A couple of years of experience in Business Control, FP&A or similar
  • Experience in a fast-paced industry and/or tech company is highly advantageous
