Job Responsibility

  • Maintain statutory registers and manage Companies House filings
  • Prepare and coordinate Board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers, and AGM documentation
  • Take accurate minutes and ensure actions are completed
  • Advise on company law, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support governance frameworks, policies, and the Group risk register
  • Provide legal advice to directors, and senior managers
  • Review, draft, and advise on commercial contracts, leases, and tenancy agreements
  • Manage contractual issues and disputes proactively and professionally
  • Act as a key link between the Board, shareholders, and external stakeholders
  • Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Group CEO
  • Coordinate senior meetings and manage corporate documentation

Requirements

  • Degree in business, law, or accountancy, or alternatively proven experience in a Company Secretary role
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and company law
  • Commercial acumen
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal ability

  • Be responsible for building and leading a team supporting other Alter Domus offices with their company secretarial tasks
