Job Description:

As a Group Accounts Payable Manager for BES Group, you will oversee the full end‑to‑end accounts payable function across multiple entities, ensuring invoices, payments and reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently. You will lead and develop a small AP team while driving process improvement and supporting continued business growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the full accounts payable process across multiple BES Group companies
  • Lead, support and develop a team of four AP colleagues
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoice and payment processing across several finance systems
  • Oversee supplier reconciliations and resolve complex queries
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including audit requirements
  • Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement across AP processes
  • Lead the onboarding and integration of new companies into Group AP processes
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, IT and local teams to enable smooth integrations
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare management reporting, including payment performance and cash‑outflow forecasting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an AP Manager or AP Team Leader role, ideally in a multi‑entity environment
  • Effective leadership and people‑management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Confident communicator able to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive and solutions‑focused mindset
  • Confidence working with accounting systems such as SAGE 200 or Xero
  • Strong Excel skills
