Job Description:

The main tasks include preparing and analyzing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the Volkswagen Group in accordance with IFRS. This involves close cooperation with subsidiaries globally, financial analysis, internal and external reporting, and project work related to acquisitions and implementing new reporting requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Contributing to the preparation of Volkswagen’s separate and consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual closing)
Designing and optimizing Group-wide accounting policies and processes
Preparing, executing, and monitoring consolidation measures
Supporting and advising domestic and international Group companies
Preparing analyses of the consolidated financial statements and assisting with internal and external reporting (annual report, interim report, reports for the Board of Management and Supervisory Board)

Requirements:

Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or a comparable qualification
Advanced knowledge of accounting under IFRS and HGB
Relevant practical experience in accounting for individual entities (general ledger) and/or in preparing consolidated financial statements in SAP
German language level C1
English language level B1
Additional language skills are desirable
