Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Groundworker for an immediate start on a busy project in the Consett area. If you are a skilled operative with a strong work ethic and a solid background in civils and groundwork, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility

  • Deep drainage, pipe laying, and associated works
  • Kerbing, edging, flagging, and slabbing
  • Sub-base preparation and general site enabling works
  • Assisting the machine operators and working safely as part of a team

Requirements

  • Proven track record in both deep drainage and kerbing (this is essential)
  • Valid CSCS card (CPCS/NPORS for dumper/roller is a major bonus but not essential)
  • Must have your own full PPE and standard hand tools
  • Strong commitment to health and safety, turning up on time, and delivering high-quality work

Nice to have

CPCS/NPORS for dumper/roller
