Job Description:

Our client is a well-established building and maintenance company; due to their expansion they are looking for an experienced Groundworker to join the team in the Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will be carrying out work on a social housing contract, re-active maintenance, planned works, van and fuel card supplied.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out work on a social housing contract, re-active maintenance, planned works
Carry out repairs and maintenance
Fencing and Boundary work
Drainage and Utility Installation
Hard and soft landscaping
External works – Driveways, footpaths, patio areas
Site clearance and Preparation

Requirements:

Must live within a 20-mile radius of Portsmouth
Must have a clean driving license
Must have experience within the domestic and social housing field - Essential
Must have extensive knowledge of groundworks and cover all aspects
Must have the ability to deal with voids
Must have excellent material knowledge
Must work on your own / manage your day to day works
Must liaise with your supervisor
Must work with other trades when need be
Must keep van clean and tidy at all times
Must provide 2 x sources of references
