Job Description:

My client is expanding fast and is looking to take on an experienced groundworker to work on short‑duration civils projects across the UK. They actually need two people to join the team. As a groundworker, you’ll carry out general civils and groundwork on car park installations, ensuring jobs are completed safely and on time. This is a hands‑on role suited to a groundworker who takes pride in high standards and tidy finishes. This role involves staying away up to four nights per week.

Job Responsibility:

  • carry out general civils and groundwork on car park installations, ensuring jobs are completed safely and on time
  • Excavations and service trenching
  • Installing bollards, columns and signposts
  • Kerbs, paving, concrete, tarmac and reinstatement
  • Using CAT & Genny to locate underground services
  • Operating small highways maintenance plant
  • Working safely and to high quality standards
  • Communicating with clients on site

Requirements:

  • NRSWA (Streetworks)
  • CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator (below 10 tonne)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a groundworker
