Job Responsibility:

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, incumbent mows, rakes, and edges lawns, trims bushes and trees, and cleans up debris as required. Incumbent is also responsible for the care and maintenance of tools.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience in grounds maintenance or gardening
  • or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license
  • Must be available to work alternate work schedules and overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Employment contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation. Position is subject to the California DMV's 'Pull Notice System' and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
