Job Description:

Maison McCulloch Hospice (MMH) is a Centre of Excellence dedicated to the collaborative delivery of quality hospice palliative care in both official languages. We are looking to hire interested candidates who want to gain valuable experience in a wonderful community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Weeding, watering, trimming plants and bushes
  • Cleaning outdoor furniture, boardwalk, gazebo, shed
  • Sweeping sidewalks and parking lot
  • Removing cobwebs from exterior buildings and cleaning windows
  • Washing interior doors, baseboards, windows

Requirements:

  • Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
  • A Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or per person on whom refugee protection has been conferred
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must provide a current police record check at own cost
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position: standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time
  • lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 75 pounds

Nice to have:

  • Experience as a groundskeeper / manual laborer is an asset
  • Bilingual in both English and French is an asset
