To provide support to the estates department, taking a professional and proactive approach to general maintenance, and on-going improvements of the site, treating Health and Safety as a priority in all aspects of the role.
Job Responsibility:
Routine basic maintenance of the college grounds, including the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), cleaning and litter picking
operate and carry out basic maintenance to grounds maintenance machinery and equipment in line with Health & Safety regulations
assist with event set ups, including exam set up and take down, Open Days, Taster Days and Consultation Days
general upkeep of all site soft landscaping, including but not limited to weeding, mowing, strimming, hedge trimming
Requirements:
Enthusiastic and experienced candidate
ability to undertake manual tasks e.g. maintenance repairs/DIY
holds a First Aid Certificate or is willing to work towards one
able to work without direct supervision in a quick and efficient manner
display values, attitudes, and behaviours consistent with the Catholic Ethos of the College
