Job Description

We are seeking a Landscaper/Groundman to join our dedicated team in Gainesville. The incumbent in this position is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: Mowing, trimming hedges, blowing, watering plants, planting, fertilizing, weeding, soil conditional, mulching, etc. Operating and maintain garden and landscaping equipment. Ensure safety when operating equipment. Pick up trash around the property and dispose of properly. Perform other related duties as required or requested by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to use lawn mowers, edger's and weed eaters
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with landscaping equipment
  • Knowledge of gardening techniques
  • Knowledge of gardening products such as fertilizers and pesticides
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time
