Grounds Maintenance Operator

• Preparing and clearing land for construction, agriculture, or infrastructure projects
• Operating plant and construction machinery safely and efficiently
• Loading, transporting, and handling materials and equipment
• Performing manual labour including digging, lifting, and trenching
• Supporting tradespeople and crews with general site tasks
• Conducting equipment checks and report faults or hazards
• Identifying utility lines and manage soil conditions
• Setting up and cleaning work areas to maintain site safety
• Following site plans, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
• Participating in toolbox talks and contribute to a safe work culture

• Ability to safely operate mowers, blowers, compactors, and other landscaping equipment
• Capable of lifting, digging, bending, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Assisting with fencing, paving, retaining walls, and irrigation systems
• Familiarity with OH&S procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively on-site
• Punctual, dependable, and able to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
• Relevant licences, white card and first aid requirements are highly regarded
• You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
